We are delighted to announce the release of our review, “Bioresorbable scaffolds in interventional radiology: Current concepts and future direction” in Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging (DOI: 10.1016/j.diii.2025.11.001).
The article highlights the growing potential of bioresorbable stents in Interventional Radiology: limitations of permanent metallic stents, principles and materials behind bioresorbable platforms, remaining technical challenges, and their promising future clinical indications.
Special thanks to co-authors Aymeric Rouchaud, Farha Tessier, Maxime Baudouin, and to our scientific partners Fan Sun, Graciela Pavon-Djavid and Yun Luo for their key work on iron-based bioresorbable stents.
